Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and contractors by conducting security procedures and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations calmly and professionally.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor management and directions to support an orderly healthcare environment.
• Document incidents and patrol activity; communicate information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $30.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon - 02:00 PM - 10:30 PM
• Tue - 02:00 PM - 10:30 PM
• Sat - 01:00 PM - 07:30 PM
• Sun - 01:00 PM - 07:30 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established healthcare location protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, entrances, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor management, access control procedures, and directions to support an orderly healthcare environment.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activity accurately and promptly; communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
