Allied Universal in Bellflower, CA is seeking a Security Officer Hospital Emergency Support Patrol to serve patients, visitors, staff, and vendors while upholding hospital policies and emergency procedures.

You will patrol healthcare facilities, monitor entrances, respond calmly to incidents, and maintain a professional presence on site. Requirements include 2 years of security experience, HS diploma, and the ability to pass screenings and vaccinations as required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of security-related experience.
• Must meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

As a Security Officer Hospital Emergency Support Patrol in Bellflower, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control activities, and assist with security-related concerns. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site personnel and/or emergency responders as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout healthcare facilities, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site policies, documenting observations and incidents through required reporting procedures.
• Maintain a professional presence while assisting with directions, escorts, and other security-related support needs across the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Must meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
