Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Access Control Patrol in Glen Allen, VA. You will monitor and guard a financial institution, provide customer service, and support access control while maintaining a visible presence to deter incidents.

Role requires patrolling assigned areas, responding to security concerns, and reporting findings. The position offers full-time hours and hourly pay, with a focus on safety and professional service.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Law Enforcement or Military Police Training Program or equivalent.
• Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.
• CPR Certification is preferred.
• Customer Service Experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Respond to incidents, access concerns, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating information according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of offices, common areas, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or facility concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site requirements, helping to maintain an orderly environment for personnel and guests.
• Prepare accurate activity reports and communicate observations, incidents, and/or maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel and Allied Universal leadership.
