Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer for Full Time Unarmed Area Patrol in Glen Allen, VA. You will protect clients in financial institutions, patrol interior and exterior areas, monitor access points, and respond to incidents with professional customer service.

The role emphasizes communication with staff and visitors and requires strict adherence to procedures and reporting. The position is full-time with day shifts and a competitive hourly pay rate.

Qualifications

• Be a graduate of a Law Enforcement or Military Police Training Program or equivalent.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including business offices, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and report unusual conditions or policy concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following established emergency response procedures.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain required activity logs for patrols, incidents, and security-related observations.
