Job summary

Allied Universal in Henrico, VA is seeking a full-time Security Officer to provide customer service and secure facilities at a technology and telecommunications site.

You will conduct patrols, monitor access, respond calmly to incidents, and complete incident reports according to site procedures. The role requires a high school diploma and minimum age requirements; training and benefits are included.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Loss prevention experience preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Alarm panel experience preferred.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen required as conditions of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors at a technology and telecommunications site by following site-specific procedures and security protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, offices, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
• Monitor access activity, verify credentials as required, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, and violations according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and professionally, coordinating with personnel and emergency responders as needed.
• Complete accurate incident reports, daily logs, and patrol documentation per Allied Universal and site requirements.

As a Security Officer Full Time Customer Service Patrol in Henrico, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor assigned areas, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do

Minimum Requirements

• Customer service experience is preferred.


• Loss prevention experience is preferred.


• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.


• Alarm panel experience is preferred.


• A guard card or license is preferred.


• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.


• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.


• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
