Allied Universal in Spartanburg, SC is seeking a full-time Security Officer Unarmed. You will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain access control, and deliver outstanding customer service while deterring security incidents. Schedule: Wed 2:00 PM–10:00 PM, Thu 6:00 PM–6:00 AM, Fri 2:00 PM–10:00 PM, Sat 6:00 AM–2:00 PM, Sun 6:00 AM–2:00 PM. Pay rate: $17.51/hour.

Qualifications

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen required by law.
• Licensing may be required depending on state/local laws.
• Valid driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of technology-focused facilities, offices, common areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity or hazards.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, and deliveries in accordance with site-specific protocols, maintaining accurate reports and logs.
• Communicate professionally with employees, visitors, vendors, and emergency responders while supporting a professional environment.

As a Security Officer Unarmed - Full Time in Spartanburg, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Security Professional supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location. You will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain access control, and provide outstanding customer service while helping to deter security-related incidents. Pay Rate: $17.51 / Hour

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
