As a Security Officer Part Time – Unarmed in Spartanburg, SC, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and provide excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• On-site facilities are limited at this site.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Loss prevention experience preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Age 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Background check will be conducted per law.
• Qualified applicants with criminal histories will be considered as required by law.
• A drug screen may be required where permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by following security procedures and site policies.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and document activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies; notify site contacts or emergency services.
• Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas and report unusual conditions or security concerns.
• Complete activity logs and incident reports per procedures.

You will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $17.51 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Day Time

Mon06:00 AM – 06:00 PM

Sat06:00 AM – 02:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.

• Monitor access points, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity.

• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services as directed.

• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including business spaces, access points, and perimeter areas; report unusual conditions and security-related concerns.

• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.

• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.

• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.

• Loss prevention experience is preferred.

• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
