Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer - Part Time Enhanced in Victorville, CA. This role offers fixed Saturday morning shifts with a pay rate of $21.49 per hour and the potential to pick up additional shifts through our scheduling platform.

The position emphasizes reliable, consistent hours at a designated site, with a six-month anchor shift and opportunities to increase earnings by taking extra shifts across sites.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and members of the public at a government human services location while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related protocols.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders as required.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, public areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor activity in accordance with established procedures, reporting unusual conditions or policy violations to site leadership.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain required activity logs for incidents, patrols, and security-related observations.

• Sat: 06:45 AM - 03:45 PM

How This Role Works

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.
