Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a security professional to provide customer service and security support at a Hope, AR site. The role includes unarmed patrols, access control, incident response, and clear reporting, with duties designed to protect tenants and visitors while following site procedures.

Position is full-time with a fixed morning schedule and a pay rate of $14.00 per hour. Applicants must meet minimum age and education requirements and pass background checks and drug screening where

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds.
• Age 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check and drug screen required by law.
• State/local licensing may apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while following security procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and access concerns in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor location access, verify visitor/contractor entry per site procedures, report unusual activity.
• Prepare clear reports and maintain activity logs for incidents and patrols.

Pay Rate: $14.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon - 05:00 AM - 01:00 PM
• Fri - 05:00 AM - 01:00 PM
• Sat - 05:00 AM - 01:00 PM
• Sun - 05:00 AM - 01:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site-specific procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial property buildings, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor entry in accordance with site procedures, and report unusual activity to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain required activity logs for incidents, patrols, and security-related observations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
