Allied Universal in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol CPR Certified to join our team at a financial institution location. Qualifications

• At least three years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security experience or a college degree.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures at a financial institution location.
• Monitor access points and verify visitor, employee, and contractor entry.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, lobby areas, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Prepare clear incident reports and maintain daily activity logs.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol CPR Certified in Jacksonville, FL, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $18.08 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon – 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
• Monitor access points and verify visitor, employee, and contractor entry in accordance with site procedures while maintaining professional communication and accurate documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, lobby areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
• Prepare clear incident reports and maintain daily activity logs in accordance with site-specific policies and Allied Universal procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least three years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
