Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies, and participate in emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and follow site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and report unusual conditions, hazards, maintenance concerns, and security-related incidents.
• Document patrols, incidents, and daily activities accurately and communicate information to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts.

As a Security Officer Full Time Emergency Medical Support in Mossville, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. EMT certification and previous firefighting experience are valued in this dynamic role.

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $26.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Tue 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM
• Wed 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM
• Thur 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and report unusual conditions, hazards, maintenance concerns, and security-related incidents to the appropriate personnel.
• Document patrols, incidents, and daily activities accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• EMT certification is required.
• Previous firefighting experience is required.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
