Job Description

As a Security Officer Unarmed Driver Patrol in Salisbury, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a food and beverage location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and deliveries. This driving post requires a valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and/or vendors while carrying out site‑specific security‑related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a food production and distribution location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, loading docks, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and/or facility concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and maintain accurate visitor and incident documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Maintain awareness of sanitation‑sensitive and operational areas, follow site entry requirements, and report conditions that may affect facility operations.

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
