Allied Universal’s Cartersville, GA location is seeking a Security Officer Vehicle Patrol Driver. You will patrol and safeguard a food and beverage site, delivering excellent customer service while maintaining a visible security presence.

This unarmed driving role requires a valid license, adherence to safety procedures, and strong communication with site contacts. The schedule spans daytime to overnight shifts with routine patrols and incident response.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage location.
• Respond to incidents, service requests, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned interior and exterior areas, including production, warehouse, loading dock, parking, and perimeter locations, to help identify unusual activity and help deter unauthorized access.
• Monitor access points and visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site procedures, helping maintain orderly movement throughout the location.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately and promptly using required reporting tools and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.

As a Security Officer Vehicle Patrol Driver in Cartersville, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
