Job summary

Allied Universal in Fairfield, CA is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Incident Response. You will perform routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, monitor areas, and provide professional customer service.

Schedule includes DayTime shifts with multiple daily blocks; pay rate is $20.45 per hour. Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, 18+ years of age for unarmed roles, and successful completion of background and drug screening

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles.
• Background check required under federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and delivery personnel at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, vehicle-related issues, and critical situations calmly and professionally.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of the facility, loading areas, parking areas, trailer yards, access points, and perimeter.
• Monitor movement of visitors, vehicles, and personnel; report unusual activity and policy violations to site contacts.
• Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation; communicate with Allied Universal leadership.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, vehicle-related issues, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, loading areas, parking areas, trailer yards, access points, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor and document the movement of visitors, vehicles, and personnel in accordance with site procedures; report unusual activity, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate site contacts.
• Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
