Allied Universal is seeking an unarmed Security Officer for Day Patrol in Dayton, Ohio. You will monitor and protect a financial institution, maintain a visible presence, and deliver exceptional customer service during daytime hours.

The role requires 18+ years old, a high school diploma, and ability to pass background and drug screening per laws. Training, reliability, and a professional demeanor are essential to succeed in this position.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, customers, and visitors at a financial institution while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, entrances, parking areas, ATM areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures; report suspicious activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and notification procedures.
• Complete required patrol logs, incident reports, and daily activity documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
