Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer – Full Time Unarmed Emergency Patrol in Cleveland, OH. You will guard a financial institution, patrol the site, manage access, and respond to incidents with professional customer service.

Qualifications

• CPR/First Aid is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor access points, verify authorized entry, and assist with visitor management in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through established communication channels.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy violations.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, and patrol activities, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
