Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Unarmed Security Officer in Delaware, OH to safeguard clients in a financial institution and surrounding areas. You will monitor and deter incidents, control access, and deliver outstanding customer service using tablet-based tools.

This role offers flexible day and night shifts, with a pay rate of $18.50 per hour. A high school diploma or equivalent and customer-service experience are preferred, with background checks and licensing per state requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and clients at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, and restricted areas in accordance with site procedures; verify credentials and direct visitors as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document observations according to site policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, including business areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Prepare clear, accurate activity and incident reports and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Security Officer supporting a financial institution location. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, manage access control and badge activities, and provide outstanding customer service. What You’ll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.


• CPR certification is preferred.


• Access control and badge experience is preferred.


• CPR and first aid experience is preferred.


• Customer service experience is preferred.


• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.


• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.


• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.


• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.


• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
