Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, seeks a Security Officer Unarmed Control Operations in Boynton Beach, FL. You will safeguard residents, manage access points, document activity, and respond to incidents while upholding a welcoming presence.

The role requires 2+ years security experience, a guard card, and computer use comfort. This Full Time position offers benefits and a steady night schedule at a residential site.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of security-related experience.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• A guard card or license is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 21+ years of age for roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific procedures and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and vendor authorization, document entries and departures, and follow established visitor-management procedures.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of residential common areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Prepare clear, accurate daily activity reports and incident documentation in accordance with site policies and Allied Universal procedures.

What You'll Do:

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
