Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Residential Credential in Pembroke Pines, FL. You’ll guard a residential community, manage access, and support a safe, welcoming environment.

This full-time role requires security experience, a valid guard card, and strong customer service skills. Expect shifts in the afternoons/evenings, routine patrols, and professional interactions with residents and staff.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Guard card is required.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background checks and drug screening will be conducted as per law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and vendors by carrying out access-control procedures and site policies.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorization, and maintain access records.

As a Security Officer Residential Credential in Pembroke Pines, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Access Control Security Professional at a residential location, you will help manage entry and exit activity, verify authorized access, monitor security-related conditions, and communicate professionally with residents, visitors, and staff. Your visible presence will help deter incidents while supporting a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and vendors by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a residential community.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify visitor and vendor authorization, and maintain accurate access-related records in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters to appropriate personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of residential common areas, parking areas, building exteriors, and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity and report security-related concerns.
• Support a welcoming residential environment while helping to deter unauthorized access through professional communication and consistent application of site policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Guard card is required.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
