• 18+ years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out access-control procedures and site policies.
• Monitor entry and exit points; verify authorization for visitors and vendors; document guest information and report access concerns.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner.
• Conduct regular patrols of common areas, entry points, parking areas, and property perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Maintain accurate logs, reports, and shift communications related to access activity and incidents.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorization for visitors and vendors, document guest and contractor information, and communicate access concerns to appropriate site contacts.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of residential common areas, entry points, parking areas, and the property perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Maintain accurate logs, reports, and shift communications related to access activity, incidents, and security-related observations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Have access control and badge experience preferred.
• Have customer service experience preferred.
• Possess a guard card or license required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
