Allied Universal in Savannah, GA is seeking a Security Officer (Unarmed) to protect people and property at a manufacturing and industrial location. You will monitor access, patrol assigned areas, and respond calmly to incidents while delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of security-related experience.
• Must be at least 18 years old (21+ for armed roles).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Successful background investigation required by law.
• Consent to a drug screen where permitted.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local regulations.
• A valid driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of manufacturing areas, warehouses, parking areas, access points, and the perimeter to identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, direct authorized visitors and deliveries, and report unauthorized access concerns in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and other security-related activities accurately and promptly.

What You'll Do

Minimum Requirements

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
