Qualifications

• A valid drivers license is required.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• A drug screen is required where permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and vendors at a manufacturing and industrial location by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and escalate concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor/contractor authorization, and maintain logs and reports.
• Report hazards, maintenance concerns, suspicious activity, and other security-related issues to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
