Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Unarmed Vehicle Driver in Stevenson, AL. You will patrol, deter incidents, manage access control, and provide professional customer service at a manufacturing and industrial site.

A valid driver’s license is required, with promotion of a safe, compliant, and responsive security presence. The role requires strong observation and reporting of incidents, with a schedule including night shifts and weekends.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Age 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background investigation required.
• Drug screen required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of manufacturing and industrial buildings, production areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as directed, and maintain accurate visitor, vehicle, and incident documentation.
• Support a professional work environment by communicating observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
