The position is full-time with a pay rate of $17.95 per hour. Candidates must be 18+ for unarmed roles and 21+ for armed roles, plus a high school diploma and background/drug screenings as part of employment.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required.
• At site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an industrial manufacturing location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting activities in accordance with site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility buildings, production areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, directing authorized visitors and deliveries, and reporting irregular conditions to appropriate site contacts.
• Observe and report hazards, equipment concerns, and suspicious activity while maintaining accurate daily activity reports and incident documentation.
