Allied Universal is seeking an Unarmed Security Officer for an access control role at a manufacturing and industrial site in Fountain Inn, SC. You will monitor entrances, greet visitors, and maintain a visible security presence to deter incidents.

The position offers full-time hours, daytime shifts, and pay of $15.00 per hour. Candidates should have high school diploma and basic computer skills; background checks and drug screening apply.

Qualifications

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation and a drug screen.

Responsabilités

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and vendors at a manufacturing and industrial location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of manufacturing areas, offices, parking areas, loading docks, and the facility perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and maintain accurate visitor and incident documentation.
• Observe operations for potential security-related concerns, communicate findings to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership, and assist with access control and traffic flow as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Pepper spray certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
