Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Site Reporting in Fountain Inn, SC to safeguard clients across industries. You will monitor and patrol the site, deter unauthorized activity, and provide exceptional customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at a manufacturing and industrial location.

Position type: Full Time with pay rate of $15.00 per hour. Schedule includes weekday shifts from 08:00 AM to 04:00 PM.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Background check and drug screen as required by law
• Guard Card or license preferred
• Pepper Spray Certification preferred
• Access control or badge experience preferred
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred
• Licensing requirements subject to state/local laws

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies at a manufacturing and industrial location
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to deter security incidents
• Monitor access points, verify visitor/contractor authorization, and maintain logs and documentation
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical events, and other critical situations per emergency protocols
• Report hazards, equipment concerns, property damage, and suspicious activity to site contacts and leadership

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control activities, and provide exceptional customer service. You will communicate professionally with employees and visitors while contributing to a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative team that acts with integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain required logs and documentation in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical events, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response protocols.
• Report observed hazards, equipment concerns, property damage, and suspicious activity to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Pepper Spray Certification is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
