Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer - General Duty in Moncks Corner, SC. You will serve clients, monitor access, and patrol warehouse areas at a fast-paced distribution site, delivering strong customer service and clear communication.

Position type is full time with hourly pay of $16.07, aligned to a schedule Mon-Fri 7:00 AM–3:00 PM. Responsibilities include responding to incidents, performing patrols, documenting activities, and enforcing site policies.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating observations to appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter.
• Monitor truck, visitor, and employee access in accordance with site procedures, documenting arrivals, departures, and unusual activity.
• Complete detailed daily activity reports and incident documentation while helping to deter unauthorized access and property loss.

You will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while using computer or tablet systems as needed. • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
