Job summary

Allied Universal in Brunswick, GA is seeking a part-time Security Officer unarmed to protect and serve at a logistics and distribution location. You will deliver customer service, monitor access points, perform patrols, and follow site procedures to deter incidents.

Qualifications

Security Officer Unarmed Access in Brunswick, GA

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $15.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Fri: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sat: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of loading areas, warehouses, parking areas, offices, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and document entries, exits, incidents, and unusual activity in accordance with site requirements.
• Communicate professionally with employees, drivers, visitors, and site contacts while reporting security-related concerns and maintaining accurate daily activity records.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a TSA-issued TWIC.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
