Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer – Logistics Duty in Brunswick, GA to protect client assets at a busy logistics and distribution site. You will perform reception, patrols, access control, and incident reporting while delivering excellent customer service.

A TSA-issued TWIC is required; CPR and guard credentials are preferred; HS diploma or equivalent is expected. This role offers flexible shifts via our Claim a Shift platform, a team-oriented environment, and

Qualifications

• Possess a TSA-issued TWIC.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation will be conducted as required by law.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories.
• Drug screen may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out security procedures and site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of the facility, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Monitor access, verify credentials, and document activity per site policies.
• Complete daily activity and incident reports and communicate observations to supervision.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control activities, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $15.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon11:00 PM – 07:00 AM
• Fri07:00 AM – 03:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.

• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and reporting requirements.

• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, loading areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

• Monitor vehicle and pedestrian access, verify credentials as directed, and document visitor, vendor, and driver activity in accordance with site policies.

• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and other required documentation, and communicate relevant observations to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a TSA-issued TWIC.

• CPR certification is preferred.

• Customer service experience is preferred.

• A guard card or license is preferred.

• Access control or badge experience is preferred.

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
