The role requires 18+ with a high school diploma, a background check, and a drug screen. Shifts include DayTime and Evening schedules with competitive pay.

Qualifications

As a Security Officer Unarmed Property Walkthrough in JACKSONVILLE, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service. You will communicate professionally with shoppers, employees, and visitors while supporting a welcoming environment. What You’ll Do

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and store personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe customer and employee activity while maintaining a professional, helpful presence.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific procedures and reporting requirements.
• Document observations, incidents, and security-related activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site management and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
