Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, contractors, and/or drivers at a transportation and rail-adjacent location by carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned facilities, parking areas, access points, rail-adjacent property, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access to designated areas, verify credentials as directed, and maintain visitor, vehicle, and incident documentation in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate site representatives and emergency services when required.
• Report observed hazards, damaged property, unauthorized access attempts, and other security-related concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a transportation location, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine rounds, report observations, assist visitors and personnel, and provide professional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Have customer service experience, preferred.
• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• A Guard Card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
