• Monitor access control points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, and maintain logs for personnel, vehicles, and deliveries.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and follow post orders and escalation procedures.
• Document incidents and security activities in reports and communicate to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and use teamwork, integrity, agility, reliability, and innovation to help create a welcoming environment.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site‑specific security‑related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and vehicle patrols throughout manufacturing areas, parking lots, access points, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and report observed concerns.
• Monitor access control points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, and maintain accurate logs for personnel, vehicles, and deliveries.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established post orders and escalation procedures.
• Document incidents, patrol observations, and security‑related activities in clear, timely reports and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements

• Have at least 2 years of security‑related experience.
• Have at least 2 years of law enforcement, military, or corrections experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
