Qualifications

• Minimum two years of security-related experience.
• Minimum two years of law enforcement, military, or corrections experience.
• Access control experience preferred.
• Proficient with a computer or tablet.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years old; 21+ for armed roles; HS diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• Licensing requirements per state/local laws; driver license for driving roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site policies, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and escalate as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing areas, access points, parking areas, and the perimeter.
• Monitor personnel, visitor, and vehicle access and maintain logs and report unusual activity.
• Communicate professionally with employees, contractors, visitors, and Allied Universal leadership to uphold a safe environment.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. You will deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while contributing to a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $19.10 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Fri 10:30 PM - 06:30 AM
• Sat 10:30 PM - 06:30 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site-specific procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing areas, access points, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor personnel, visitor, and vehicle access in accordance with site requirements, maintaining accurate logs and reporting unusual activity.
• Communicate professionally with employees, contractors, visitors, and Allied Universal leadership while supporting a professional and orderly work environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least two years of security-related experience is required.
• At least two years of law enforcement, military, or corrections experience is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
