Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer TWIC Patrol in Westlake, LA. You will monitor and patrol chemical/petrochemical locations, provide customer service, and deter security incidents.

The role requires TWIC, HS diploma, and compliance with background checks and drug screening as applicable. Shifts are Monday to Friday, with day/evening hours and strict safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Possess Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) issued by TSA.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• State/county/local security license preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Must be 18+ (unarmed); 21+ for armed roles.
• HS diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check as part of employment per laws.
• Qualified applicants with criminal histories considered per laws.
• Drug screening may be required where permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by following site policies and emergency procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and hazardous-material concerns calmly and log appropriately.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, areas, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and maintain logs of personnel and vehicles.
• Report hazards and policy violations to site leadership per procedures.

As a Security Officer TWIC Patrol in Westlake, LA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a chemical/petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, hazardous-material concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, process areas, access points, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access control points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, and maintain accurate logs of personnel, vehicles, deliveries, and incidents.
• Report observed hazards, equipment issues, policy violations, and suspicious activity to site leadership and/or emergency responders in accordance with established procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a Transportation Worker Identification Credential issued by the Transportation Security Administration.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
