Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Roving Patrol Driver in Westlake, LA to safeguard clients across multiple industries. You will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible security presence, and report concerns while delivering excellent customer service.

This full-time role requires a TSA TWIC or approved credential, HS diploma or GED, and a valid driver’s license for driving positions.

• Background check in accordance with laws.
• Age: 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients following site policies and procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, spills, or unauthorized access calmly and according to protocols.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of buildings, entry points, parking areas, and perimeters.
• Monitor access control points, verify credentials, and document visitor activity.
• Prepare clear, accurate incident and patrol reports and communicate with site contacts.

As a Security Officer Roving Patrol Driver in Westlake, LA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As a Driving Unarmed Patrol Officer at a chemical/petrochemical location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and report security-related concerns. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, spills, unauthorized access attempts, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility buildings, access points, parking areas, perimeter areas, and other designated locations to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access control points, verify credentials as directed, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports for incidents, patrol observations, and unusual conditions, and promptly communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a Transportation Worker Identification Credential issued by TSA.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
