Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer TWIC Compliance in Point Comfort, TX to safeguard facilities and support access-control procedures at a chemical/petrochemical location. The role requires a TSA TWIC, HS diploma, and ability to pass background checks and drug testing.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and authorization, issue or retrieve access materials, and maintain accurate visitor and contractor records.
• Control vehicle and pedestrian access at gates, inspect documentation as required, and direct authorized traffic in accordance with location procedures.
• Respond to access-control incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, promptly reporting concerns through established communication channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, perimeter areas, and chemical or petrochemical location grounds to help deter unauthorized activity.

You will conduct routine patrols, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and support site operations through teamwork and integrity. Pay Rate: $15.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a TSA-issued TWIC.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
