Allied Universal is hiring for a Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced position at a Trucking Yard in El Paso, TX. The role offers a fixed anchor shift with six months commitment and optional Earn More, Claim-A-Shift opportunities to add hours and increase earnings.

Pay rate is $16.76 per hour with a schedule that includes Wed night, Sat day, and Sun day shifts. The role focuses on customer service, access control, and incident response at a logistics site.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, access‑control requirements, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor and control access to the facility by verifying credentials, reviewing visitor and contractor authorization, issuing access credentials, and maintaining required entry and exit records.
• Observe vehicle, driver, employee, visitor, and delivery activity at access points, following established procedures for inbound and outbound traffic.
• Respond to incidents, access‑control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner; document observations and promptly communicate concerns to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, parking areas, loading docks, business areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security‑related concerns.

As a Security Officer for a TruckingYard in El Paso, TX, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $16.76 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Wed 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sat 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sun 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.
