Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Armed Patrol Driver in Amarillo, TX. You will perform armed patrols, monitor access, respond to incidents, and complete clear reports while maintaining high standards of customer service

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees at a logistics and distribution location while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facility interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, loading docks, shipping and receiving areas, and perimeter access points.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as required, and report unauthorized activity or access concerns according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related concerns, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and/or emergency responders.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Armed Patrol Driver in Amarillo, TX, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $22.66 / Hour

Weekly Pay

Job Schedule:

• Sat 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM
• Sun 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A Level III Armed Certification is required in Texas.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
