Allied Universal in Amarillo, TX is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol Driver to provide flexible, dependable security coverage at a designated site with fixed anchor shifts. This role offers the opportunity to earn additional shifts through our scheduling platform and to gain experience across multiple sites.

The position includes customer service, routine patrols, incident response, and access control.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required per Allied Universal policy.
• 6 months' commitment for anchor shift role.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check per federal, state and local laws.
• Drug screen as a condition of employment.
• State/local licensing requirements may apply.
• Driving positions require valid driver’s license.

Responsabilités

• Provide customer service to customers, employees, and visitors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations calmly and professionally.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, exits, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Observe and report suspicious activity, potential hazards, policy violations, and security concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control, traffic flow, and other site-specific duties while maintaining a professional presence to deter unauthorized activity.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol Driver in Amarillo, TX, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $15.00 / Hour

DayTimeWed06:00 AM - 02:30 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
