Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to drivers, visitors, and employees at a freight transportation and distribution location while carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Monitor and control access points by verifying identification, credentials, delivery documentation, and authorization for personnel, vehicles, and vendors.
• Maintain accurate access-control logs, issue and collect visitor credentials as directed, and communicate access concerns to site leadership.
• Respond to incidents, access-control alarms, and critical situations following site procedures.
• Conduct regular patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Access Control Route Driver in Lewisville, TX, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $16.84 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Sat 06:00 PM - 06:00 AM; Sun 06:00 PM - 06:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to drivers, visitors, and employees at a freight transportation and distribution location while carrying out security-related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor and control access points by verifying identification, credentials, delivery documentation, and authorization for personnel, vehicles, and vendors entering or departing the location.
• Maintain accurate access‑control logs, issue and collect visitor credentials as directed, and communicate access concerns or unusual activity to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.
• Respond to incidents, access‑control alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and report observations.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security‑related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• At this site there are limited on‑site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
