• Prepare clear incident reports and communicate information to supervisors and site contacts.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, and personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at transit locations.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols of transit facilities, platforms, entrances, perimeter areas, and other assigned locations to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical situations, and critical events in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Monitor access points and assist with maintaining orderly movement through assigned transit areas while reporting unauthorized access or policy concerns.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, and security-related activities, and communicate relevant information to supervisors and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.
• At this site, there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
