• Licensing requirements vary by state/local laws.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to transit passengers, visitors, and staff by following site procedures and safety policies.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of transit facilities, platforms, parking areas, vehicles, and perimeter areas.
• Respond to incidents and passenger concerns in a calm, professional manner and request assistance when needed.
• Monitor access points and restricted areas, verify authorized entry, and maintain orderly environments for public transport operations.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and actions as per site procedures.

Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Wed 02:30 PM - 12:30 AM
• Thur 02:30 PM - 12:30 AM
• Fri 02:30 PM - 12:30 AM
• Sun 02:30 PM - 12:30 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to transit passengers, visitors, and staff by carrying out site‑specific security‑related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of transit facilities, platforms, parking areas, vehicles, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy violations.
• Respond to incidents, passenger concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, requesting assistance from appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as needed.
• Monitor access points and restricted areas, verify authorized entry when applicable, and help maintain an orderly environment for public transportation operations.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and actions taken in accordance with site procedures and Allied Universal reporting requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least one year of security‑related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Pepper spray certification is preferred.
• Handcuffing certification is preferred.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
