Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Train Fare Patrol in Denver, CO. You will safeguard clients across government transit locations, performing patrols and maintaining a visible presence to deter incidents, while delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• Handcuffing certification preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds preferred.
• Minimum age 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required; subject to law.
• Drug screen required where permitted.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local laws.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

As a Security Officer Train Fare Patrol in Denver, CO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer supporting a government transit location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and assist passengers, visitors, and staff with exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, and personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at transit facilities.
• Respond to incidents, service disruptions, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of transit platforms, stations, parking areas, buildings, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, observe activity throughout assigned transit locations, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, or policy violations according to site procedures.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least one year of security-related experience.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Possess a guard card or license, preferred.
• Possess a handcuffing certification, preferred.
• Be able to lift more than 20 pounds, preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
