Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Transit Platform in Englewood, CO to safeguard riders and staff at a busy public transit location. You will perform unarmed patrols, deter unauthorized activity, and provide clear, courteous information to passengers and visitors.

The role emphasizes customer service, visible security presence, and adherence to site procedures while working a daytime schedule. Prior security experience and flexibility to meet state requirements are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of security-related experience.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
• Handcuffing certification preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds preferred.
• Pepper spray certification preferred.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to passengers, employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security procedures and emergency response activities.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, disturbances, medical situations, and other critical events.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of transit facilities, platforms, parking areas, and surrounding perimeter.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious activity, hazards, policy violations, and maintenance concerns; complete incident reports.
• Assist with directing passengers and visitors, provide information on site procedures, and maintain a professional presence.

As a Security Officer Transit Platformin Englewood, CO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a public transit location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication to riders, visitors, and staff while contributing to a welcoming environment. Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to passengers, employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a public transit location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical situations, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency services.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of transit facilities, platforms, parking areas, access points, and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and public areas, report suspicious activity, hazards, policy violations, and maintenance concerns, and complete accurate incident reports and daily activity documentation.
• Assist with directing passengers and visitors, provide information regarding site procedures, and maintain a professional presence while interacting with diverse members of the public.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Handcuffing certification is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Pepper spray certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
