As an Unarmed Security Officer supporting an aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service. You will communicate professionally, support access and site procedures, and work collaboratively with a team that values agility, reliability, innovation, care, and integrity.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $22.07 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Tue: 02:00 PM - 06:00 PM
• Wed: 02:00 PM - 06:00 PM
• Thur: 02:00 PM - 06:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and vendors at an aerospace and defense-related location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials as directed, maintain visitor records, and report unauthorized access attempts or unusual activity to site leadership.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, office areas, parking locations, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as directed.
• Prepare clear, accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and other required documentation while maintaining confidentiality of sensitive business information.

Minimum Requirements:

• An active DoD Top Secret Clearance is required.
• A Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
