You will provide professional customer service, communicate clearly with employees and visitors, and use technology to document observations. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense business location.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate access-control documentation in accordance with site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office areas, billing operations spaces, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation protocols.
• Help protect sensitive business information and property by reporting policy violations, suspicious activity, and maintenance concerns to appropriate site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
