Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Armed in De Leon Springs, FL. This role features fixed shifts with the option to pick up additional shifts through our scheduling platform, providing flexibility and potential higher earnings.

Pay rate is $21.00 per hour with a six-month anchor shift commitment and opportunities to earn more via additional shifts across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Armed guard card or license is required.
• Active Department of Defense Secret clearance is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors while following site procedures and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of buildings, restricted areas, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and authorization, and track visitor, vehicle, and material movement per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and according to response protocols.
• Carry and maintain authorized equipment and complete accurate activity, incident, and patrol documentation.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Armed Roving Clearance Required in De Leon Springs, FL, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors while carrying out site‑specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, restricted areas, parking areas, and the perimeter, reporting unusual conditions and potential security‑related concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and authorization, and maintain awareness of visitor, vehicle, and material movement in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and following established response protocols.
• Carry and maintain authorized equipment in accordance with Allied Universal, client, and applicable legal requirements, and complete accurate activity, incident, and patrol documentation.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Maintain an active Department of Defense Secret clearance.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
