Job summary

Titan Security is seeking a vigilant security officer for Chicago to ensure safe and welcoming environments at iconic locations. You will assist patrons, monitor access, and perform patrols as part of a dynamic team.

The role requires valid Illinois PERC, at least 6 months in customer service, and ability to work multiple shifts. Candidates must pass background checks and adapt to varying weather and physical requirements.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to patrons, including assist with directions and inquiries.
• Ensure smooth access for patrons, visitors, and vendors as needed.
• Monitor security cameras and conduct patrols to prevent theft and maintain a welcoming environment.
• Maintain accurate logs concerning individuals, property, and packages.
• Respond promptly to incidents, including emergencies, and document them for management.

Job Highlights

• Provide excellent customer service to all patrons, including assisting with directions and answering general inquiries

Candidate Profile

• A valid Illinois PERC card or willingness to obtain one is required
• 6+ months of previous customer service or hospitality experience is required
• Available to work a combination of 2 full shifts (1st, 2nd, and/or 3rd)
• Must be able to pass a drug screen and criminal background check
• Capability to perform patrol duties, including walking up to 5 miles, climbing stairs, lifting 50+ lbs., and working in all weather conditions is essential
• Relevant soft skills include reading, writing, and speaking English
