Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.

• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to drivers, visitors, and/or employees by following site-specific access procedures and security-related policies at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, maintain logs, and deter unauthorized access.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and report concerns according to post instructions.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility, loading areas, trailer yards, and perimeter with attention to access points and unusual activity.
• Communicate with site contacts, dispatch, and emergency responders as needed to support traffic flow and security operations.

Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Access Monitor – Indianapolis, IN

Pay Rate: $18.39 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Day: Thur
• Time: 11:00 PM – 07:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed‑Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six‑month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours one week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
