Allied Universal in Tempe, AZ is seeking a Security Officer - Surveillance Protection to safeguard clients at financial institutions and other facilities. You will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, and provide courteous customer service while following site procedures and post orders.

This full-time, unarmed patrol role requires a valid driver’s license and 18+; CPR certification is preferred.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of financial institution facilities, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorized entry as directed by site procedures, and maintain accurate logs and reports.
• Communicate observations and incidents to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts in accordance with post orders.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements asubject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
